PHILADELPHIA, PA (April 21, 2016) – Corporate Responsibility Magazine announced today its 17th annual 100 Best Corporate Citizens List, recognizing the standout performance of public companies across the United States.
The 100 Best Corporate Citizens List documents 260 data points of disclosure and performance measures—harvested from publicly available information in seven categories: environment, climate change, employee relations, human rights, governance, finance, and philanthropy & community support. The list ranks the Russell 1000 Index.
“Companies that make our list strive to be transparent while disclosing how their business impacts employees, communities, and the environment,” said Belinda Sharr, editor of Corporate Responsibility Magazine. “These companies engage in a wide range of responsible business practices, and do so while succeeding financially as well. They exemplify good corporate citizenship.”
