Each year, CR Magazine publishes the CR 100 Best Corporate Citizens List, recognizing the standout performance of public companies across the United States.
The 100 Best Corporate Citizens List documents 260 data points of disclosure and performance measures—harvested from publicly available information in seven categories: environment, climate change, employee relations, human rights, governance, finance, and philanthropy & community support. The list ranks the Russell 1000 Index.
In response to client request, Corporate Responsibility Magazine and IWFinancial are offering custom comparative analysis reports on request. These reports will go into detail on a company’s performance as determined during the CR 100 Best Corporate Citizens List process.
Through these reports, those that receive the report will be able to gain detailed insight into their ranking. Further, recommendations about ways to improve performance in the ranking will be made.
Number of companies included in report:
In addition to their own results, study participants will be able to select up to 4 more companies from the Russell 1000 for comparative purposes. Therefore, the total number of companies profiled is five.
Six of the seven categories that comprise the CR 100 Best Corporate Citizens List: Environment, Climate Change, Human Rights, Philanthropy & Community Support, Employee Relations, Corporate and Governance, will be examined in detail to produce your report. The finance category will be presented in aggregate form.
Further, where appropriate, a summary of rankings within each sub category will be provided.
There are 260 data elements that comprise the ratings. An analysis will be made between the comparative set and the report sponsor highlighting differences in how each company scored in the report.
The report covers the current rankings, but will also include the overall ranking of the two prior years.
In addition to the data provided, commentary will be included highlighting differences, explaining implications and making recommendations about how changes could result in scoring higher in the next year’s ranking.
